Where can I get a drawing or image of a Class 1 part?
There are many photographs and drawings on the website in the various product areas. Most product manuals include dimensional and installation drawings. You can locate the manuals under the Downloads tab in the specific product area that you are interested in. If you are unable to locate photos/drawings in either of these locations, please contact Class 1 Sales at 1-800-533-3569 for assistance.
Will the Captain Pressure Governor or the Class 1 Vernier throttle work on a Ford or GM vehicle?
The Class 1 Vernier Throttle does not work with Ford & GM engines because the throttle signals for Ford and GM are proprietary. The Vernier Throttle works with most Detroit, Cummins, Mercedes, Navistar, Mac and Caterpillar engines. You can refer to the Vernier Throttle manual for more specific information or call Class 1 Sales at 1-800-533-3569 for assistance.

I have a Cummins M11 or M14 motor. Do you still have a throttle or governor available?
Class 1 is unable to provide new throttles or governors for Cummins M11 or M14 motors due to lower level parts that are no longer available from our vendors. However, it is possible that your existing Class 1 throttle or governor may be returned to our facility for a repair evaluation. Please contact Class 1 Customer service for a RMA#, or you can e-mail your request to Class1Returns@idexcorp.com
How do I know the lead time on a part?
Contact Class 1 Sales 1-800-533-3569 for assistance with parts availability and lead time.
Where can I get a wiring diagram for my Class 1 component?
Many wiring diagrams are located in the service manuals for the particular item you are working with. Please see the appropriate web page for your component and look under the downloads tab for service manuals. If further information is required, contact Class 1.
How do I become a Class 1 customer?
The Class1 Regional Sales Manager in your area makes the final determination as to new customer approvals. Once you are approved, Class1 can provide you with a credit application to fill out and return for consideration.
Do you have a minimum order?
We do not have a minimum order requirement.
Does Class 1 accept credit cards for payment? If so, which ones?
Class1 accepts Visa and MasterCard for payment of new Purchase Orders or for payment of an account balance.
How can I estimate the freight costs on my order?
Your Class1 Sales Associate will be able to give you an estimate for shipping charges. If you require an exact quote, please advise us as such and we will procure a quote. Please allow 2 business days for the quote to be processed.
What is my discount? How do I get the price of a part?
Your Class1 Sales Associate or your Regional Sales Manager will be able to give you list price on Class1 products as well as give you your discount.
I am having difficulty finding information for my Detroit Diesel Fire commander. Where can I get help?
The Detroit Diesel Fire Commander, Master Mind and Engine Commander are products that Class1 manufactured exclusively for Detroit Diesel. Please contact your local Detroit Diesel Service Center for information and service. If your local Service Center can not assist you, please call 313-592-5800 for more information.
I need to order a High Pressure Flexible Hose assembly. What information do I need to provide?
Class1 can build your custom length High Pressure Flexible hose assembly within 24 hours or less of receiving your purchase order. We require the dimension of the hose, coupling types and the OVERALL (tip to tip) length required. Our tolerance is +/- .24 inches.

How do I get a Governor Training Video?
The Class1 training videos are available on CD only. Please contact our literature department at Literature.hale@idexcorp.com or your Class1 Sales Associate with your name, department name, and mailing address. The videos will ship in 5 to 10 working days.
How can I tell if my order has shipped?
Contact Class 1 Sales 1-800-533-3569 for assistance with parts shipment information.
How do we get our company logo on our pressure gauge?
Private label gauges are available for orders of 100 gauges or more PER DIAL SIZE AND DESIGN. For instance 2.5” dials in 30” to 400psi would require an order for 100 and if you wanted the same size in 0 to 600psi this would be another order of 100 gauges. You will need to provide camera ready art work of your logo. The lead time on these order are approximately 12 weeks after you approve the design created by our engineering staff.
How do I know what is included in a kit, such as Intelli-Tank Level Gauge or a FlowMinder?
In most cases the kits consists of the transmitter or transducer, a display, a harness (10’ increments) and a tag. Dual display kits will also include a pigtail for the second display or in the case of a FlowMinder, an interconnecting harness. A list of available parts is located in the Class1 List Price guide.
Where can I get tags for my Push-Pull handles, drain valve, etc?
Class1 does not provide tags for these items as the vast number of different verbiages makes this cost prohibitive. Manufactures such as VisionMark can assist you in acquiring these tags. You can view their website at www.visionmark.com.
Where do I find a Part Number on my Class 1 part?
Many Class1 products have the part number located somewhere on the part. If you cannot find a part number you can contact Class 1 for assistance. Digital images would be a great help in making this identification.
